Welcome to Number One, a luxury Bed & Breakfast in Northumberland !

 When we decided to move here to Longhoughton and open a B&B we thought back to stays we’ve enjoyed or endured in the past and set out to give our guests the welcome and facilities that we would have wanted to find when we travelled. 
Number One Springfield is the result. We hope you enjoy your stay. 
We have 2 rooms available at present, named after local saints. St. Aidan and St Cuthbert are each waiting to welcome you, whether it be for an overnight break, a relaxing weekend, or winter week long break.

The Beds
There are 2 main things we think you should have the best of. The beds come first.  When you’re spending a night away from home having a comfortable bed is a must, and we spent ages looking for really good beds.
Guests tell us it was worth it!

The Breakfasts
After the good beds, a good breakfast is one of the finer things of staying away.
You may wish to enjoy a cooked breakfast - we try to use locally produced bacon, sausage and eggs. Perhaps you’d prefer fruit, yoghurt, muesli or porridge. We often have our local Craster Kippers, and if requested, we’ll make sure we have them.
