Lounge

Our lounge is a comfortable room for guests to use with Free view Television and a DVD player,and if the evening turns chilly, then a click on the button, and the remote controlled gas fire can be brought to life. 

We have quite a selection of maps and guide books for the area, and for surrounding areas. In fact, we have a full collection of the Arthur Mee ‘Kings England’ series of guides which make fascinating reading even though they are of 1930s vintage

If you need any ideas for how to fill the days, then just ask, we’re always happy to chat about places to go and places to see.

Hot Drinks

Naturally, you’ll be wanting to enjoy a cup of tea, or coffee, or perhaps an indulgent chocolate drink. Both of our rooms have hospitality trays which are well stocked and we provide fresh milk in a small fridge on the landing. You’re welcome to keep your own drinks, medications, or Northumberland cheeses in there to keep them cool and fresh.

Wireless Internet!

Guests who can’t leave work behind (or social networking) may wish to make use of the wifi network and check their email, make their travel plans, research where to go, or even book some groceries to welcome them back home!
