Traveling North on the A1
Continue past the first Alnwick turn, and after about a kilometre take the next exit signed for Alnwick Garden/Boulmer. Turn right to Denwick, just through the village (4 houses!) take the right fork and follow signs to Longhoughton.
 After a couple of miles you go under a railway bridge, and enter Longhoughton. Take the second road on the right, signed for the Fishing Boat Inn/Boulmer.
Springfield is about 200 yards on your left.

If you are travelling South on the A1, then turn off at the sign for Alnwick Garden, and follow the above. 

Travelling North along the Coastal Route, then you enter the village and arrive at a T junction, turn right, and immediately right toward Boulmer / Fishing Boat Inn. Springfield is about 200 yards on your left.

Travelling South along the Coastal Route, you will enter the village from the north, and drive past all the facilities - the Post Office on your right, a Spar grocery on your left, then the war memorial and the church. At last there is the sign pointing to the Fishing Boat Inn and Boulmer, and you turn left onto Boulmer Road. Springfield is about 200 yards on your left.
