Books - did you say books?
Well, we have quite a few here which our guests are welcome to read and enjoy. If you have an interest in wood, or gardens, or would like to read Arthur Mee’s great county by county review of the country, or maybe H.V. Mortons journeyings through the region and elsewhere you’ll not need to leave the house. 

But then , we have Barter Books on our doorstep at Alnwick, in the old railway station building close on a half million books, or some huge number. Enough second hand books to entertain for weeks. !
